Adriana Rantcheva

Adriana Rantcheva is a policy analyst at EFIS Centre. Her works includes monitoring innovation trends and assessing research and innovation policies. Prior to joining EFIS Centre, Adriana was involved in the European Innovation Scoreboard 2021 project, funded by the European Commission and worked together with the OECD on the topic of innovation portfolios and other approaches connected to public sector innovation. She is passionate about capacity building, systems innovation and innovation polices to find new solutions to complex policy challenges. Adriana also worked as an international public sector consultant focusing on digital transformation and technology implementation. She also has served the Diplomatic body of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as a delegate in the Permanent Mission of Bulgaria to the United Nations in New York and at the Embassy of Bulgaria in The Hague. 

She holds a BA in Political Science and Public Management from Pompeu Fabra University and an MSc Degree in Public Policy and Governance of Innovation from the Maastricht University. Adriana is fluent in Bulgarian, English and Spanish. She lives and runs through the streets of Barcelona and Paris.
