FAIR – which stands for Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable – has recently become inevitable for anyone involved in research data management or in various initiatives relating to the European Open Science Cloud. It is not surprising therefore that this topic was also covered during the past Digital Infrastructures for Research 2017 (DI4R) conference which took place on 30 November – 1 December in Brussels.

The eInfraCentral project contributes to the application of the parts of the FAIR principle. The topic of findability relating to e-infrastructures in the context of the European Open Science Cloud is one of the key elements in making the service FAIR. Dr Jorge-A. Sanchez-P. presented the eInfraCentral’s work and especially how the service catalogue supports services in reaching FAIR-ness at the panel “How to make EOSC services FAIR?”.
